Thank you. Thank you for everything you have done for me throughout the past few years I have known you. I truly would not be where I am today without you. I did not realize that I needed a coach like you in my life until you were in it. Thank you for teaching me to have the confidence in myself that you had in me on and off the court. You have taught me how to be grateful, how to work hard, and how to love the sport of volleyball in all that I do. I see the way that your boys varsity team looks at you, and it’s the same way that I do, with the respect for your words and the eagerness to soak up all of the knowledge that you can give us. You really do make a difference in the lives of all of your players, and I hope that they learn from you like I have. I was at that practice and some of them adore you, and some need some work! 😂 You are funny, beautiful inside and out, intelligent, and truly the only coach I have ever had that really gets my jokes and doesn’t get offended. I love that you laugh at yourself, and have taught me to do the same. I will be happy to bring you snacks any time upon request, and you truly are one of my favorite coaches. If something goes wrong in my day, I know I can always tell AY, no matter what it is without judgement. You have always just listened when I have needed it most, even though you may have had just as rough of a day. For this, I appreciate you beyond words. I will always help you in any way I can, and this Bobcat will always be available next year to work undercover for the Sharks. I truly want to be you when I get older. Sorry this is random, but I’ve been missing you at practices!
